Technological advances in printing and photography have enabled artists like myself, to create reproductions of their work that are visually faithful to the originals but also affordable to a wider audience.
I currently create reproductions of my work as Giclée Prints on Hahnemühle canvas and archival paper and thermally embedded prints in glazed Ceramic Tile.
Art is for everyone.
GICLÉE PRINTS
The word giclée was adopted by Jack Duganne, a printmaker specialising in reproducing fine art. He wanted a name for the new type of prints produced on the IRIS printer, a large-format, high resolution industrial prepress proofing printer that was adapted for fine art printing. It is based on the French word gicleur, which means ‘nozzle’ (the verb gicler means ‘to squirt’ or ‘spray’). Today giclées are considered the optimal printed medium for reproducing and archiving fine art paintings and drawings.
My giclées are printed on Hahnemühle Cezanne canvas and Hahnemühle German Etching archival paper. The acid and lignin free canvas I use is made from 100% pure cotton with a natural white, finely woven surface texture. The heavyweight Hahnemühle German Etching paper has a slightly warm base tone and a strong mottled texture. Both formats deliver strong colours and deep blacks that feel rich and high in contrast. The inks used are fade-resistant, archival inks that are water-based pigments. When applied to high quality archival substrates the resulting print has an archival lifespan of 80 years or more.
Unless otherwise stated, all of my giclées are printed at the same size as the original artwork. Both canvas and paper prints are sent rolled in a protective tube to reduce shipping costs. Canvas prints can be stretched by most framers.
All giclées prints are limited editions and include a individually numbered certificate of authenticity.

CERAMIC TILE
Brilliantly coloured glazes on ceramic tiles recreate my artwork on a small but beautifully powerful format.
A unique technology developed in the USA uses specially developed inks which, under heat and pressure, become a gas that permeates the glazed surface of the ceramic reproducing my work on tile. I believe I am the only artist in the UK offering their work using this unusual process.
The tiles do not require a frame and are easily displayed either hanging on a wall, or as a free-standing ornamental piece, the artwork is both eye-catching and affordable. It may also be incorporated directly onto an interior or exterior tiled surface. The polished finish allows the intensity of the colourful images, even under minimal light, to literally shine.
